In previous years of B1G Survivor, Lovie Smith´s Illinois teams had a propensity for helping to clean out the Survivor Pool (both via unexpected wins and unexpected losses). Nice to see that tradition continuing under Bert´s tutelage as well! Unfortunately, I missed the majesty of B1G´s signature game of the decade, as I was attempting to get a pontoon boat out of the water.

Thanks to the ¨heroics¨ of the Illini, 14 contestants were sent packing. Add in an additional elimination of a Maryland picker, and we went from 31 contestants down to these 16:
