Week 6 recap:

Friday night featured an elimination game with 2 picks for Nebraska pitted against 2 picks for their opponent, Rutgers. Rutgers took a 13 point lead at halftime, then I fell asleep (the game was that compelling) and I assume more things happened and Nebraska ended up winning by one point.

5 people picked Wisconsin over Northwestern and 4 more chose Michigan over Indiana.

Now for the Losers Bracket:
2 people join the losers pool this week (they both picked Rutgers to win), replacing two no-picks.

4 folks correctly chose Indiana to lose to Michigan while 1 daring soul went the opposite way, eliminated picking Michigan to lose.

We also had one contestant eliminated on the wrong side of the Wisconsin/Northwestern game. Rutgers losing to Nebraska advanced one contestant to next week.

6 were ejected from the losers bracket by incorrectly picking Purdue to lose to Maryland, while 3 stole candy from a baby choosing Michigan State to lose to Ohio State.

Finally, in the late game, 3 entrants picked Iowa to lose to Illinois. Boy they must be living right. Iowa lost 6-9 in a game that hinged on one play, when Art Sitkowski got stuffed on a run and fumbled. The ball was scooped up by Iowa and ran back for an apparent defensive touchdown, but it was for naught because replay would overturn the fumble as the quarterback was ruled down before coughing up the ball. Illinois would score a field goal to go up by 3... for those scoring at home, that was a 10 point swing in a game in which neither team reached 10 points.

All in all, that's 2 additions, 11 advancers, and 10 eliminations.

No one has successfully picked Purdue in either bracket this year. It hasn't even been attempted in the winners bracket yet. Twice the Boilers have avenged their selections on the losers side. Spoilermakers indeed.
