Week 2 saw 26 eliminations (more than one quarter of the field). 14 people failed to make a pick and were eliminated, and 12 more poor fools, myself included, made the mistake of selecting Nebraska who lost in true Frostian fashion to Georgia Southern.
The Huskers staged a late comeback effort behind by 3 late in the 4th quarter. Nebraska overcame two huge video reviews getting fortuitous overturns first on a lost fumble (the ball carriers knee just barely went down before the ball came out) and then an incompletion near the goal line was overturned to first and goal from the one.
With just over 3 minutes remaining in the game, Nebraska scored a touchdown to take the lead by 4. Anyone who missed the game can probably guess what happened next - Georgia Southern marched down the field and scored a touchdown with 36 seconds left, converting a 4th and 2 along the way and aided in part by an unhealthy spattering of Nebraska penalties.
Still, the Huskers made a valiant attempt to push the game to overtime, making several nice completions to set up a 52 yard field goal attempt with one second left... that went wide.
35 people who picked Indiana over Idaho had to sweat the result of that game until midway through the third quarter when the Hoosiers finally claimed their first lead of the game and did not look back from there.
23 folks successfully picked Rutgers over Wagner, 1 individual took Illinois over Virginia, and one clown intentionally burned Ohio State in week 2.

In the Second Chance pool, both hoeger and RTVF82 moved on by picking Northwestern and Iowa to lose, respectively. Wisconsin and Nebraska also posted losses in Week 2.
I'm pretty confident I fudged up the tie breakers for this from the start (because I'm not very smart), but they are what they are. Just do the best you can for now and I'll try to recognize those who did well at the end of the season.
I mean, I couldn't even figure out how to structure my own picks for a season so I plainly could not imagine how the rest of you would do it. Oh well.
