First, I thought we might try a new Second Chance Bracket this year to keep more people involved longer. This will be separate from the regular survivor pool, which takes precedence, so more on the former later. Survior Rules can be found in the Week 0/1 post.
Starting with 93 entrants, we had 2 eliminations in weeks 0 & 1 with one unfortunate soul picking Nebraska over Northwestern and another picking Illinois over Indiana in this year's first elimination game (we had 2 takers on the other side).

Last week, I knew basically nothing about how good or bad any of the B1G teams would be this year. Now, mostly not having watched 1+ weeks of games, my football knowledge has expanded considerably and I now know next to nothing. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
My pick for week 2: Nebraska. While the Huskers have plenty of talent, I'm too afraid of their recent historical inconsistency to save them for a B1G game. Nebraska should still be able to handle Georgia Southern though (I hope).
Second Chance Bracket
If you get eliminated from the regular survivor pool*, you may enter a second chance pool. (Because I already have the spreadsheet set to go.)
*You must have picked a game each week to be eligible.
In the regular pool, you pick one team each week to win. In the second chance pool, after you have been eliminated from the regular pool, you must pick a team to lose each week. You would still not be able to pick any team you have previously picked, in either pool. You would need to pick the loser of the B1G championship game in week 14.
First tie breaker for the losers pool would similar to the original:
1. Worst combined winning %age of B1G teams you have not used
2. Strength of victory (losing percentage of teams you've picked against)
3. Whomever got their losing (or in this case winning) pick in first.
As per the regular pool, picks are due prior to the published game times of the game you are picking.
