Week 4 saw a wild late night finish in the Winners' bracket as the fate of 40 contenders went to overtime in 2 games.
Let's start with the Indiana/Akron game. The Zips had a chance to win in regulation with a chip shot field goal, but by some voodoo, the 32 yard attempt went just wide. The Hoosiers then needed 4 Overtimes to survive Akron, much to the relief of the 30 fools (including me) who picked them.
Minnesota was not so fortunate. They blew a fourth quarter lead and would eventually succumb to Northwestern in overtime banishing 10 Survivor entrants to the losers' bracket in the process.
Elsewhere 29 people advanced with an Illinois win over Florida Atlantic, 9 more moved on by picking Nebraska over Louisiana Tech, and 1 contestant successfully chose Wisconsin over Purdue.
