Indiana Hoosiers 74, Minnesota Golden Gophers 62

MaximumSam: The Hoosiers jumped all over Minny from the tip and led by 17 in the first half and 21 in the second. Frosh Mackenzie Mgbako led them in scoring with 19. For a team that has been hovering around the century mark on Torvik, Indiana is in pretty good shape at 4-2 in the conference.

Iowa Hawkeyes 94, Nebraska Cornhuskers 76

MaximumSam: Has Iowa turned a corner offensively? They had looked good, but not quite Iowa good, earlier in the season, but they have been humming lately and really put it on Nebraska, with an o-rating of 133. Nebraska did battle and even took the lead briefly in the second half, but had just a miserable night from deep, going 4-26.

#54 Northwestern Wildcats (12-3, 3-1) at #13 Wisconsin Badgers (12-3, 4-0) (-7.5), 11 am, BTN

MaximumSam: Can anyone stop the Badgers? Northwestern goes on the road to give it a shot, in what is an important early season game. A win by Wisconsin would put them two games clear of everyone but Illinois for the B1G crown. I haven’t seen any updates on Steven Crowl, who was gimpy with a knee injury against Ohio State. Not sure if that is a long term situation or not. In any case, Torvik goes Badgers, 73-64.

#107 Penn State Nittany Lions (8-8, 2-3) at #2 Purdue Boilermakers (14-2, 3-2) (-18.5), 1:15 pm, BTN

MaximumSam: Little chance this is a game, unless Ace Baldwin has 24 steals by himself. Which could happen, I suppose. Torvik says Purdue, 90-67.
