Michigan Wolverines 73, Ohio State Buckeyes 65

MaximumSam: Reports are that OSU is looking at TAMU athletic director Ross Bjork to take that position at Ohio State. His first item of business may be to replace the basketball coach, as Chris Holtmann’s Buckeyes have fallen to 2-4 in the conference and are now unlikely to make the tourney for the second straight year. This game featured them going 3-25 from three.

BoilerUp89: Is Holtmann in legitimate trouble? Give us your thoughts in the comments.

Iowa Hawkeyes 86, Minnesota Golden Gophers 77

MaximumSam: Iowa kept the good times going. They overcame a 30 point performance from Dawson Garcia and put up another strong offensive performance, this time on the road. Ben Crikey aka Krikke led them with 25 and was joined by Josh Dix with 21. We’ll see if they can do it against a good team. For Minnesota’s part, a promising early start seems to be fizzling. Ben Johnson may be shopping with Chris Holtmann for walking shoes.

BoilerUp89: Congrats to Fran for becoming the Iowa men's basketball coach with the most wins. Despite his numerous anger episodes and lack of any Big Ten regular season titles or NCAA tournament success, Fran is proof that you don't have to be an exceptional employee to remain employed. There's a lesson in there for all of us.

Purdue Boilermakers (15-2, 4-2) at Indiana Hoosiers (12-5, 4-2) (+9.5), 6 pm, Peacock

MaximumSam: Here comes Road Purdue, who have been decidedly worse than Home Purdue or Neutral Purdue. Just 1-2 in real road game this year, the Boilers find themselves two games back of the B1G crown despite being ranked in the top 3 in every service you can imagine. They head to Bloomington, where the Hoosiers just have one loss - a tight one to Kansas. Will we have a game tonight? Torvik says no, and goes Purdue, 82-69.

BoilerUp89: Even when Purdue wins at IU, its harder than it needs to be. Breaking out the expensive liquor tonight and hoping to escape with a road win. Indiana’s guard play is the key thing to watch.

Wisconsin Badgers (13-3, 5-0) at Penn State Nittany Lions (8-9, 2-4) (+5.5), BTN

MaximumSam: The Wisconsin Road Show already has two wins over OSU and MSU, and now goes for a third against PSU. Penn State Penn isn’t any good, but they have had some bright spots this season, most notably sophomore Kanye Clary emerging as a real scorer. Mike Rhoades and company have a cog they can build around going forward. Not sure that will hekp them in this game: Torvik goes Wiscy, 78-70.

BoilerUp89: Penn State thrives off of live ball turnovers. Wisconsin doesn't turn the ball over. Going to take a shooting night from one of these teams that is significantly off of normal for Penn State to pull the upset.
