Wisconsin Scored Again! #hoopsthough

Mary Langenfeld-USA TODAY Sports

Time to talk a little #B1G Hoops -

Michigan, And Caris LeVert's Injury

LeVert, done for the year. Michigan's chance at making any moves this year...even more done for the year. John Beilein has done an amazing job rebuilding the Michigan program, but the combination of players leaving for the NBA + injuries will presumably make 2015 a year without an NCAA Tourney berth.

That said, this may be a blessing in disguise for Michigan. How -

The freshmen get BIG minutes to grow as players.

The 2014-15 season will be viewed as rebuilding, instead of a disappointment.

The tremendously youthful squad will be chock-full of veterans in 2015-2016.

Indiana is Ranked!

Remember the terrible, no-good offseason that Indiana had?

Well the Hoosiers are playing pretty damn well, moving into the rankings this week. And if nothing else, this is an athletic team that score in bunches. These boys are fun to watch, especially the ever-unpredictable Troy Williams ("what will he do next??! Dunk on everyone? Pass the ball into the 4th row? Block your shot into the 5th row?Coming up next on the Troy Williams Show...)

0 for Minnesota

Loss margin for Minnesota in B1G games: 4, 12, 2, 5, 2, 3

It's that moment, during every Gopher game, where you say, oh boy, I can feel another close Minnesota loss coming. And then it happens. It's a team good enough to hang, but not good enough to finish games. One of the most disappointing squads in the B1G this year. And doesn't Tim Miles strike you as the nicest guy ever? I doubt there's a tape of him yelling about Husker fans...

Wisconsin over Iowa

Dunks and 3's and just an old-fashioned beatdown. Wisconsin gets rolling, not a lot of Midwestern teams slowing them down.
